A young, cheating husband may have come close to understanding the meaning of "till death do us part" this week after, Bensalem police said, his wife caught him red-handed and called her dad and brothers, who beat him to a pulp.

Naseem Abu-dayya, 22, left his home Wednesday afternoon and checked into the Mall Motel on Old Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, where he was later joined by a female friend, police said.

Relatives said that friend was Abu-dayya's mistress, whom they identified as Imane Jellouli. Abu-dayya told police that he and his wife of five years were separated.

Fatima Awad, 22, who has a 3-year-old and a 7-month-old with Abu-dayya, then received a call from someone telling her that her husband was sleeping with another woman, one of Awad's sisters told the Daily News last night.

"Fatima would tell me, 'My husband sleeps away from home, every three days,' " the sister said.

Police said an angry Awad then showed up at her husband's motel room and began screaming and slapping him in the face.

She snatched his car keys and jumped into the back seat of the car, but he retrieved the keys and began to drive toward the police station with his mistress, while his scorned wife assaulted him from the back seat, police said.

All hell broke loose after Awad apparently called her brothers for backup, police said.

When Abu-dayya stopped the car on Galloway Road after his wife grabbed the steering wheel, Awad's father and three brothers pulled into the parking lot.

Bensalem police said Awad's brother, Saoud Awad, 22, opened the car door and pointed a black handgun at Abu-dayya, struck him repeatedly in the head and threatened to kill him.

Another brother, Mohammad Awad, 38, and their father Jamal Awad, 53, walked over to the car and the three pulled Abu-dayya out and pummeled him with their feet, police said.

A bloodied Abu-dayya tried to call 9-1-1 but police said his phone was snatched by the Awad family, who also took the keys from the ignition before fleeing.

Abu-dayya was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital with lacerations, bruising and a possible fractured eye socket, police said.

Each of the Awads, including Joseph Awad, 20, whose role was unclear, was charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy, simple assault, rioting and terroristic threats.

All of the Awads remained in Bucks County Prison.

In November 2005, Saoud Awad pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and harassment and was sentenced to probation and domestic-violence classes.

Two of Fatima's sisters, and Abu-dayya's sister, disputed Abu-dayya's account last night at the family's home on Brookwood Drive near Hulmeville Road in Bensalem.

Fatima's sister said Fatima told her lawyer that when Fatima arrived at the motel, Abu-dayya started beating Fatima and said he was going to get her whole family jailed.

The sisters said Abu-dayya is from Israel and that he only married Fatima because he wanted a green card to stay in the country.

"She brought him to America and he told her that he only wanted to marry her for a green card," said the sister. "We used to love him so much but he tricked my sister."
